SLM883x series
Ultra compact, efficient, and high-precision TEC control chip
The SLM883x series is a single-chip TEC controller that integrates dual power regulators. Internally equipped with a linear power stage, a pulse width modulation (PWM) power stage, and two zero drift, rail to rail operational amplifiers. The linear power stage and PWM power stage work simultaneously to control the bidirectional output of the internal power stage in the H-bridge configuration. By measuring the feedback voltage of the thermal sensor and using an integrated operational amplifier as a PID loop compensator to adjust the signal, precise output of the power stage is achieved, thereby controlling the heat of the TEC and stabilizing the temperature of the laser diode or passive component connected to the TEC module to the set target temperature.
The single inductor structure makes the system more compact, reducing the design size by 20%
