SiLM59xx series
30V, 12A single channel isolated driver with active protection
SiLM59xx is a single channel isolated driver that provides 12A source current and 12A charging current. The active protection functions include de saturation overcurrent detection, UVLO, isolation fault alarm, and 4A Miller clamp. The working voltage of the input side power supply is 3V to 5.5V, and the working voltage range of the output side power supply is 13V to 30V. All power supply voltage pins have undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection.
Internal Desaturation (DESAT) fault detection can identify whether the IGBT is in an overcurrent state. When de saturation is activated, the fault signal is transmitted to the input side through an isolation barrier, pulling the FAIL output pin low and shielding the input signal. When powered by a bipolar power supply, when the IGBT is turned off normally, its gate voltage is clamped to VEE2. If the driving power supply is unipolar, an active Miller clamp can be used to allow Miller current to flow through a low impedance path, thereby preventing the IGBT from dynamically conducting under high voltage transient conditions.
SiLM59xx adopts SOP16W packaging, providing 5kVRMS isolation withstand voltage in accordance with UL1577 standard, and has a minimum common mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 150kV/us.
