SiLM4228x series
Three channel 150mA linear LED driver
The SiLM4228x series is an independent three channel LED linear current driver. Specially providing complete diagnostic functions to meet automotive grade requirements, while also providing "RUN" communication to connect device interfaces with more than three channels, and supporting separate current configuration and digital PWM dimming for each channel (such as RGB). Supports two externally configurable operating modes: in Fault Feedback Mode (FFM), the channel will remain operational even in the event of an error signal. In single light mode (SLB), if an error signal occurs, all connected SiLM4228x channels will be turned off. The SiLM4228x series provides an intelligent power management system that uses external shunt resistors to share power distribution between IC packaging and external heat sinks. It can flexibly avoid the generation of hotspots by dissipating heat on the PCB board. By reducing the reference voltage and providing shutdown protection for extreme temperatures above 180 ° C, the protection function for abnormal operating conditions is achieved.
