SiLM104x/SiLM105xS series
CAN transceiver with CAN FD and fault protection functions
The SiLM104x/SiLM105xS series is a high-speed controller area network transceiver that meets the requirements of ISO11898-2:2016 specifications. The SiLM104x/5xS device supports classic CAN and CAN FD networks with a maximum speed of 5Mbps. SiLM104x/5xS is an internal logic conversion through VIO, allowing IO to directly connect to voltages of 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V. The SiLM104xS transceiver supports remote wake-up using the wake-up mode defined in ISO 11898-2:2016 in low-power standby mode. SiLM104x/5xS has multiple protection and diagnostic functions, including over temperature shutdown, TXD explicit timeout, power supply undervoltage detection, and fault protection when the bus voltage is above ± 65V.
Supports classic CAN and optimized CAN FD that meets 2Mbps and 5Mbps performance
IO port voltage range: 1.7V to 5.5V
The common mode input voltage support of the receiver in normal mode is ± 30V
The common mode input voltage support of the receiver in standby mode is ± 12V
Optimization of Unpowered Behavior:
-The bus and input pins are in a high resistance state when unloaded
-Supports hot swapping: no burrs on the bus and RXD output during power on/off
Integrate multiple protection functions:
-Bus voltage above ± 65V fault protection - undervoltage protection
-TXD explicit timeout - over temperature shutdown protection
Low power mode optional:
-Low power standby mode (SiLM104xS) - quiet mode (SiLM105xS)
